Benito Urbina

We first came across the estate's wines with the introduction of their delicious 1999 Seleccion to our portfolio, and Pedro's tasting showed us that this exceptional quality runs throughout their range, from their Joven wines to their Gran Reservas.

The family owned single estates 75 hectares of vines are situated in Cuzcurrita de Rio Tiron, at the north-western edge of Rioja, a region renowned for producing wines with a great capacity for ageing, yielding Reservas and Gran Reservas of extraordinary complexity and longevity.
