In this mixed case you will receive three bottles each of the following wines;
2012 Epitome, Sumaridge Estate, Upper Hemel-en-Aarde
Deep in colour with an expressive plummy character and a rich, spicy, appeal. Big, bold black fruit, with notes of cinnamon and liquorice, and aromas of woodsmoke, and dark liqueur chocolate. Chewy, but ripe tannins with warm, spiced bramble fruit. Rich and powerful, but also fresh and very well-balanced. A great effort from the talented Walter Pretorius.
2020 Chardonnay, Sumaridge Estate, Upper Hemel-en-Aarde
The brand new vintage of Sumaridge's brilliant Chardonnay. Lovely, delicate fruit expressions of the grape are underpinned a lively minerality derived from the region's soils and cool maritime air. As good as many Burgundies at twice the price.
2016 Pinot Noir, Sumaridge, Upper Hemel-en-Aarde Valley
Pinot noir grows wonderfully well in the Hemel-en-Aarde valley, benefitting from many hours of glorious sunshine and the cooling winds of the Cape coast. After a cold soak, individual batches of meticulously selected grapes are matured for 10 months in French, revealing seductive red cherry fruit, a cedary spice and plenty of savoury complexity. Would not be out of place on the Côte de Beaune!
2015 Maritimus, Sumaridge, Walker Bay
A sophisticated white blend, full of finesse, that endeavours to reflect its maritime location. Floral and apple aromas leap from the glass, followed by complex flavours of quince, fig and toasted nuts.

We aim to deliver your wines within our standard 1 to 4 working days. 90% of orders are delivered within 48 hours. There are certain wines which are on a pre-order status and these are clearly marked on the product themselves and at the checkout stage. Deliveries take place between 8am and 5pm Monday to Friday.
You won’t need to come into contact with our couriers, as they will deliver your selection to an agreed safe place, without requesting a signature. Please add your delivery instructions at the checkout when placing your order.
Our specialist in-house fulfilment team pick, pack and dispatch wines to all UK addresses. Our service is fast efficient and reliable.
Delivery to these areas can take up to 5 to 7 working days.

Where possible, we will use the existing packaging the wine is shipped to us in from the producer. If we feel this is unfit, we will re-pack in a Mr.Wheeler branded, recyclable cardboard carton.
Inevitably there will be the occasional breakage upon transit. If your wine doesn’t arrive in perfect condition, please contact our sales team on 01206 713560 or [email protected] and we will be very happy to arrange a suitable solution or straight replacement.

We’re confident in every bottle of wine we sell at Mr.Wheeler
if you don’t like any bottle, for whatever reason, please let us know and we will replace the wine or refund you. Faulty or unenjoyable bottles of any description, reported within a reasonable time after purchase, will be refunded without question or delay.
