Purplish red in colour, with a complex and fresh nose, with hints of spices, white pepper, sweet pepper and red fruits. Round in the mouth, elegant and silky, with a long finish. Suggested pairing: steak, pork, roasted vegetables.

What do the critics think?

“Aromas of ripe dark fruit, sweet spices, dark chocolate and flowers. Medium-to full-bodied with fine, polished tannins and ripe, mellow fruit. Mild and seamless. Fruity finish. 50% syrah, 30% malbec, 10% cabernet sauvignon, 5% cabernet franc and 5% petit verdot. Drink now. 92 points”

Bold, expressive with tastes of chocolate, berries, vanilla and spice. Leave for an hour to open and breathe and goes well with red meat or in my case a pepperoni pizza.

Not bad - I found the Malbec predominates and therefore very similar to a straight Malbec. Not sure I would buy it again.
