White burgundy is perhaps the most natural parring with white drinkers on Christmas day and for sure, with smoked salmon. Here, we have four styles – two from burgundy and one styled as such, but from Marlborough in New Zealand. Alongside the four chardonnays we have an absolute classic in Château de Tracy’s Pouilly-Fumé. And if shellfish is your thing, then the “declassified grand cru” Riesling from one Alsace’s top estates will be an absolute joy. A very fine collection of whites.
