2022 Beaune 'Les Mariages', Domaine Rossignol-Trapet
An attractive, moreish core of juicy, crunchy red fruit and fresh leafy notes combine with a very fine tannic structure that is delicately raspy and eminently approachable. A pretty, easy-going red burgundy for now and for the coming years. Great with duck.
"A medium deep purple. There is a greater depth of berry fruit on the nose than the Savigny offered. The fruit does a good job in filling out the palate, still with a good acidity, and pleasing length. Attractive for the medium term."
