Quite a big tempranillo, so typical of Ribera, with a lovely seam of freshness. It's seen just 6 months in oak, which has added a sweet sweet spice and roundness to the wine. This, balanced well with punchy blackcurrant. Excellent value.

As Rioja goes this is very light and approachable style. Ripe cherry fruit character on the palate with savoury notes combining together resulting in a wine with notable depth of flavour with a silky finish, medium bodied and complex.
