The Clarets:
2016 Château de Clotte, Cotes de Castillon
Château de Clotte has an illustrious history dating from the 13th century and originally owned by the Dukes of Castillon. Their 2016 vintage has lovely rich berry fruit flavours and a hint of spice, tobacco and vanilla from its oak aging. It is still youthful but when opened an hour beforehand, it blossoms in the glass.
2016 Petite Laurence, Bordeaux
On the nose dark fruits stimulate the senses at first, cherry, plum, and cassis with light hints of perfumed violets. As one continues to appreciate the primary aromas, the five years in bottle is starting to encourage savoury aromas of leather, too.
2016 Château de l'Hospital, Graves Rouge
Our new 2016 Château de L'Hospital comes from a small château in the middle of the Graves appellation. Their vineyards lie on a clay and gravel topsoil with limestone underneath - a terroir that is much envied in Bordeaux as it produces a soft, rich wine with a touch of minerality. A soft, rich wine with a touch of minerality. The blend is 65% merlot, 33% cabernet sauvignon with a touch of petite verdot, and the wine aged in oak for 12 months.

2021 Bourgogne Chardonnay 'Les Chapitres', Maison Jaffelin
"Hand-harvested and aged for 11 months in old oak, it's lively and citrusy and makes a perfect introduction to Burgundy." Jonathan Ray, The Spectator Magazine
2020 Macon-Villages 'Rift 71' Loron
This Rift 71 shone and impressed all in a Mr. Wheeler tasting of 30+ white Burgundies, bursting as it was with gorgeous stone fruit and citrus character, delicate nutty notes and hints of spicy ginger. A lovely streak of acidity complements the palate perfectly and brings excellent length. A brilliant white Burgundy.
2020 Mâcon-La Roche-Vineuse, Domaine de la Belouse
"The 2020 Domaine La Belouse Mâcon- La Roche-Vineuse comes from a 50-year old estate in the Mâconnais commune of Berzé-la-Ville. Produced by the appropriately- named Cedric Chêne, the wine is aged in oak and is fresh, clean, lively and lemony with a faintly honeyed nose and a long dry finish. In short, it's textbook entry-level Mâcon Chardonnay." Jonathan Ray, The Spectator Magazine

There are certain wines which are on a pre-order status and these are clearly marked on the product themselves and at the checkout stage. Deliveries take place between 8am and 5pm Monday to Friday.
You won’t need to come into contact with our couriers, as they will deliver your selection to an agreed safe place, without requesting a signature. Please add your delivery instructions at the checkout when placing your order.
Our specialist in-house fulfilment team pick, pack and dispatch wines to all UK addresses. Our service is fast efficient and reliable.

Where possible, we will use the existing packaging the wine is shipped to us in from the producer. If we feel this is unfit, we will re-pack in a Mr.Wheeler branded, recyclable cardboard carton.
Inevitably there will be the occasional breakage upon transit. If your wine doesn’t arrive in perfect condition, please contact our sales team on 01206 713560 or [email protected] and we will be very happy to arrange a suitable solution or straight replacement.

We’re confident in every bottle of wine we sell at Mr.Wheeler
if you don’t like any bottle, for whatever reason, please let us know and we will replace the wine or refund you.
