2022 Bourgogne Rouge, Domaine Morey Coffinet

Fresh and pretty on the nose with just a pleasant hint of bell pepper, along with floral aromatics. On the palate, this is soft and juicy with lovely character, beautifully crunchy and moreish – “très digeste” according to Thibault’s exceptionally knowledgeable assistant Marjolaine, which I would translate as extremely gluggable… Good volume on the mid-palate, more body and power than expected from the delicate nose, in fact.
