2021 Château Sénéjac, Cru Bourgeois Haut-Médoc
"Floral and brightly scented with such clarity on the nose, so expressive but delicate too. I like the clarity here, it’s not weighty or particularly textured but so refined on the palate, really just gentle but so charming. So well worked with a grace of flavours where nothing sticks out but nothing too heavy either. I really like this – it’s not trying too hard, still with acidity, red berry fruits and some chalky tannins. 4% Petit Verdot completes the blend."

"The 2021 Senejac was picked from September 24 to October 7 at 29hL/ha and raised in 30% new oak. The perfumed nose features potpourri-tinged red fruit, red cherries and blood orange, nicely focused but not intense. The palate is medium-bodied and fresh, with grainy tannins, modest depth and just a slight attenuation toward the finish."
