2010 Fine Bordeaux Mixed Case
For your deepest pleasure: Haut-Médoc, Saint-Julien and Pomerol cuvées from highly esteemed cru classé estates, all now in peak drinking form, all with much potential for further ageing still.
2010 Château La Lagune, Haut-Médoc
"...a vigorous bouquet with blackberry, briary and tobacco aromas, quite feisty compared to its peers, then settling down and manifesting more red fruit. The palate is medium-bodied with supple tannins and a fine bead of acidity. This builds nicely towards a cohesive, silky smooth finish with a pinch of white pepper on the aftertaste. Excellent."

2010 Château Talbot, Saint-Julien
"...a very appealing bouquet with blackberry, wild hedgerow, crushed strawberry, cedar and graphite aromas that seem more intense than previous bottles. The palate feels rounded and supple with layers of tobacco and 5-spice infused black fruit, fanning out to a voluminous and quite concentrated finish..."

2010 Château Guillot-Clauzel, Pomerol
" Lively, fresh, red berry fruit nose, with a lifted earthiness typical of Pomerol. Good, rich extraction but not over-extracted. Robust and spicy, with considerable vigour and substance. It may not be subtle, but it has energy and persistence."
