Guilleminot Champagne Taster Case
BRUT TRADITION 'BLANC DE NOIRS', MICHEL GUILLEMINOT, CHAMPAGNE, FRANCE
Michel Guilleminot's brut enjoys an enviable reputation for sheer value for money and consistency. "Récoltant-Manipulant" on the label means the wine has been produced from 100% of the estate own grapes and bottled by the estate. Made 100% from Pinot Noir grapes, giving a fruit-led, yet elegant aperitif-style bubbles. Ages 3 years on its lees before being released. Look for fresh, fragrant fruit on the nose; crunchy berry fruit flavours combining with a classic biscuity note and a gentle mousse; and an appetizing, pure, vibrant accent.
The perfect aperitif. Sushi, pan-fried or grilled fish and of course at home with a wide range of canapés.
BRUT CUVÉE PRESTIGE 'BLANC DE NOIRS', MICHEL GUILLEMINOT, CHAMPAGNE, FRANCE
Not only does Michel select grapes from his best performing vineyards but he also leaves the Champagne to age "sur lie" for an extended period for his fabulous cuvée prestige (5 years). There is still a lovely fruit character from the Pinot Noir but with greater richness and depth of yeasty, toasty character.
BRUT ROSÉ 'BLANC DE NOIRS', MICHEL GUILLEMINOT, CHAMPAGNE, FRANCE
Extended skin contact gives this wine its vibrant deep salmon pink colour, and with it a wonderful summer berry aroma. There is still a very definite Champagne character to the palate with a creamy mousse combining with notes of brioche and red fruit.
