Château de Riquewihr enjoys an almost perfect situation for successful grape growing. To the West, oceanic currents are reduced by the Vosges mountains, and to the North, the Schoenenbourg hill protects the vines from cold winds. The grapes ripen slowly leaving wine ripe but full of freshness. Expect ripe pear, honeysuckle, and citrus fruit with a long, off-dry finish.
