2021 Chambolle-Musigny 1er Cru 'Les Sentiers Vieilles Vignes', Domaine Anne et Hervé Sigaut
Comparatively richer and more textured for a 2021, but still with the vintage's undeniable elegance and luminous red-fruit layers. Refined tannins on a luscious palate and polished finish makes for an irresistible Chambolle.
About the producer:
The union of Vosne-Romanée’s Anne-Françoise Gros and Pommard’s François Parent in 1988 marked the inception of this outstanding domaine, boasting rather enviable holdings across both the Côte de Beaune and the Côte de Nuits. Today, their children, Caroline Parent-Gros and Mathias Parent, have assumed leadership roles, managing the commercial aspects and winemaking, respectively. The domaine is distinguished by wines that exude subtle power and depth, achieved through a gentle extraction and cool maceration process, resulting in a beautifully seductive, velvety texture.
