"The 2020 La Pointe has a finely tuned and detailed bouquet of black cherries, raspberry, wild strawberry and light truffle scents, unfolding beautifully with aeration. The palate is medium-bodied with sappy black fruit, fine acidity and lovely poise, leading into a mineral-driven, sophisticated finish. This is one of the best vintages of La Pointe I have encountered at this stage. Just superb."
