Set in a secluded valley between the picturesque village of Séguret and the Mont Ventoux, Domaine de Mourchon was established by the McKinlay family in 1998, and their delicious wines have been part of our range ever since, going from strength to strength with every vintage.
This is one of the Rhône Valley’s true stars, highly rated by consumers and leading wine journalists throughout the world - Jancis Robinson is a fan, and Robert Parker has awarded Walter McKinlay’s wines some impressive scores.

The fourth Mourchon I’ve now tried from Mr Wheeler and this Grande Reserve is stunning! As my other 5 star reviews reflect, there is nothing this estate produces that isn’t anything other than superb but this is the star in the pack so far. It’s dense, a dark crimson in the glass, medium/full bodied, plum/liquorice/spice and gorgeously rich. Lovely old-vine Grenache and Syrah, smooth, concentrated and smoky. Cannot recommend it enough, absolutely glorious.
punchily smooth, intense, with great finish. one to savour as the autumn advances.
