ABOUT THIS WINE
Stéphane Robert's St-Péray is a fine advertisement for the white wines of the Rhône. Striking pear, peach and apricot fruit on the nose, with a touch of spring blossom and some herbaceous notes. Fine intensity on the palate, with luscious orchard fruit, and an appealing creamy texture. Characterful, and very food-friendly. This is a serious, but hugely drinkable wine from this small northern-Rhône appellation just south of Cornas.
