Personal Recomendation | 2015 Montagny 1er Cru Chaniots, Les Vignerons de Buxy

A quick swirl in the glass reveals pronounced floral aromas with citrus, dried apricot and a fine backdrop of delicate hazelnut. The palate has a lovely texture and is quite full-bodied offering white peach, pear, citrus freshness and a delicate herbaceous spice and hazelnut character on the finish, which is impressively long. A shade over 12 months resting in French oak barrel is no doubt partly responsible for the richness, complexity and length of flavour to be found in this latest release.

In summary, this is a wine which is eminently enjoyable on its own, but equally at home on the dinner table in the company of fine food. Drink Now - 2020
