ABOUT THIS WINE
100% merlot - made by the winemaking team of legendary Pomerol - Chateau Clinet. The traditional robust, almost muscular, winemaking style is evident here - this is quite a serious Bordeaux rouge, which obviously has some staying power. 2015 has an alluring aromatic quality - typical of this vintage at its best. A touch of roasted meat, smoky spice and sweet liqueur on the nose, with subtle mocha aromas. Becomes more expressive with a swirl in the glass - deep, dark and chewy - like a black cherry liqueur chocolate.
Tasting Note
Opulent, sumptuously styled, intensely delicious, here is a rich, powerful, fruit-driven nose and wonderful concentration of black cherry and plummy flavours to deliciously meet what the festive table always demands. Although modestly classified (Bordeaux), Ronan is made by the same hands at one of Pomerols most prestigious châteaux, and thus offers this same festive table unbeatable value for money.

What do the critics think?
An excellent right bank Bordeaux. As good as many a Pomerol.
All I can say I have had a case of 2010 previously, this is why I have bought another case and will be looking forward to drink the 2016 vintage with friends and family over the next few years.
