2015 Château Tour Saint-Bonnet, Cru Bourgeois Médoc

Château Tour Saint Bonnet has always been one of the Médoc’s better properties: a fine cru bourgeois with plenty of left-bank style, making reds that have been enduringly popular with UK claret-lovers for many years.

So, hearing about a mature parcel available directly from the Château for a rather irresistible price, we jumped at the chance. First, however, although quite confident the 2015 would be good, we did of course order a sample for retasting. As expected, it was delicious, especially given its now-perfect stage of maturity: classy, characterful and a must for seasonal drinking.

Since our tasting panel agreed unanimously, we snapped up as much as we could, which is due to arrive in early December. We’re expecting the demand to be very high here - it’s really that good.
