2017 Gevrey-Chambertin, Domaine Sylvie Esmonin
"The 2017 Gevrey-Chambertin Village includes 30% whole bunch fruit and raised in 30% new oak. This has a well defined bouquet with blackberry, briary and light crushed stone aromas that gradually unfold in the glass. The palate is well balanced with supple tannin, a fine bead of acidity, quite silky in terms of texture with a caressing, black cherry and cassis finish. Delicious!"
