A blend of traditional Spanish tempranillo, with the more widely seen syrah. The syrah vines are particularly old, yielding wines of particular intensity and depth of flavour [more info].

2015 Les Mattes Blanc, Vignes des Deux Soleils, Languedoc, France
Beautifully balanced, with bright citrus aromas, notes of spring blossom, and just the right addition of subtle, smoky oak. The palate is rich, rounded and seductive with white peach and pear flavours, and a delicious mineral freshness. Pair this with richer white meat dishes - such as roasted chicken, and particularly creamy sauces. A good match for shellfish such as crab or langoustines, and works well with mushroom-based dishes too. [more info].

2017 'Arbouse' Massif d'Uchaux, Côtes du Rhône Villages, France
Massif d'Uchaux is one of the 'cult' villages in the Côtes du Rhône - no surprise then it is a strong candidate for elevation to its own village appellation. This wine has been a universal hit with our buying team - absolutely bursting with spicy blackberry and plum fruit [more info].

2017 Bourgogne Blanc, Séguinot-Bordet, Burgundy, France
Where to start with this delightful wine?
