Matthew Jukes, our friend and wine reviewer, has got his hands on a bottle and reckons it is one of the best ever, even saying it is "a more sophisticated wine" than the 2020 - "In 2021 there is a wonderful backbone to this wine from which the fruit is carefully draped. With the trademark watermelon and pomegranate hints and a deeper and more structured mid-palate than was found on the lithe 2020 this is a more sophisticated wine than its crowd-pleasing predecessor. This, in turn, means that it is a foodier proposition, too, which is great news. So, my very first 2021 Provence Rosé is set to, once again, wow all-comers."

Tasting note:
Very, very pale bright pink that unleashes rose petal aromas. Lip-smacking soft summer fruit flavours abound with just the slightest hint of violets in this scrumptious new vintage of Whispering Angel. It is crisp, clean and fresh. A great rosé in all respects from Sacha Lichine and his team.

We aim to deliver your wines within our standard 1 to 4 working days. 90% of orders are delivered within 48 hours. There are certain wines which are on a pre-order status and these are clearly marked on the product themselves and at the checkout stage. Deliveries take place between 8am and 5pm Monday to Friday.
You won’t need to come into contact with our couriers, as they will deliver your selection to an agreed safe place, without requesting a signature. Please add your delivery instructions at the checkout when placing your order.

Where possible, we will use the existing packaging the wine is shipped to us in from the producer. If we feel this is unfit, we will re-pack in a Mr.Wheeler branded, recyclable cardboard carton.
Inevitably there will be the occasional breakage upon transit. If your wine doesn’t arrive in perfect condition, please contact our sales team on 01206 713560 or [email protected] and we will be very happy to arrange a suitable solution or straight replacement.
