2020 Château Beaurivage, Minervois
Regular summer barbeques will entice you through cases of this sumptuous, southern French red blend. Beaurivages bright, luscious, bramble-fruited Minervois is a textbook example of the fantastic value the Languedoc continues to offer. Here, lifted red berry notes, appealing warmth and hints of spice, and glowing with bold, expressive bramble fruit.
2016 Château de Clotte, Castillon
Château de Clotte has an illustrious history dating from the 13th century and originally owned by the Dukes of Castillon. Their 2016 vintage has lovely rich berry fruit flavours and a hint of spice, tobacco and vanilla from its oak aging. It is still youthful but when opened an hour beforehand, it blossoms in the glass.
2020 Cepas Single Vineyard Cabernet Franc, Penedo Borges
As much as you love your Argentine malbecs, you must try a much rarer thing: Mendozan cabernet franc. Here, deeply coloured, with classic cab franc herbaceous notes lifting bright, black-berry fruit. Perfumed with a note of fresh mint and a hint of sweet, spicy oak.
2021 Fleurie, Château de Fleurie, Maison Loron
Here is Cru Beaujolais gamay expression to gratify those who fancy fresher, more floral and ethereal characteristics in their reds. A Fleurie to supremely complement charcuterie, creamy cheeses, chicken and duck-based dishes.
2019 Rioja Crianza, Sancho Garces, Bodegas Patrocinio
A classic crianza with flavours of fresh, lush berry fruits balanced with very well-judged use of oak. This wine doesn't exhibit powerful oak flavours but the barrel ageing lends the wine extra character, roundness and complexity, with flavours of cinnamon, exotic spice and wood smoke swirling around the generous red fruits.
2021 Las Martas Garnacha, Bodega San Gregorio, Calatayud
This modern-style red made with old vine garnacha is warm, rich and flavourful with an appealing crunch. Very moreish and incredible value for money.

We aim to deliver your wines within our standard 1 to 4 working days. 90% of orders are delivered within 48 hours. There are certain wines which are on a pre-order status and these are clearly marked on the product themselves and at the checkout stage. Deliveries take place between 8am and 5pm Monday to Friday.
You won’t need to come into contact with our couriers, as they will deliver your selection to an agreed safe place, without requesting a signature. Please add your delivery instructions at the checkout when placing your order.
Our specialist in-house fulfilment team pick, pack and dispatch wines to all UK addresses. Our service is fast efficient and reliable.

Where possible, we will use the existing packaging the wine is shipped to us in from the producer. If we feel this is unfit, we will re-pack in a Mr.Wheeler branded, recyclable cardboard carton.
Inevitably there will be the occasional breakage upon transit. If your wine doesn’t arrive in perfect condition, please contact our sales team on 01206 713560 or [email protected] and we will be very happy to arrange a suitable solution or straight replacement.

We’re confident in every bottle of wine we sell at Mr.Wheeler
if you don’t like any bottle, for whatever reason, please let us know and we will replace the wine or refund you. Faulty or unenjoyable bottles of any description, reported within a reasonable time after purchase, will be refunded without question or delay.
