Commemorating the exact year when the Nyetimber estate appeared in the Domesday Book, this is the multi-award winning 1086 cuvée. It is crafted by Head Winemaker Cherie Spriggs from a selection of over 90 highest-quality base wines, and whom the International Wine Challenge (IWC) awarded ‘Sparkling Winemaker of the Year’ in 2018: the first and only time it’s been given to one outside of Champagne.Sourced from the estate’s finest vineyards and subject to extended ageing on lees, 1086 is only released a decade after harvest and as such this represents the absolute pinnacle of fine English sparkling wine. The 2010 vintage is a blend of chardonnay and pinot noir in the main with a 11% dash of pinot meunier.This beautifully balanced sparkling wine is only available in a limited quantity so make sure you don’t miss out.

Where possible, we will use the existing packaging the wine is shipped to us in from the producer. If we feel this is unfit, we will re-pack in a Mr.Wheeler branded, recyclable cardboard carton.
Inevitably there will be the occasional breakage upon transit. If your wine doesn’t arrive in perfect condition, please contact our sales team on 01206 713560 or [email protected] and we will be very happy to arrange a suitable solution or straight replacement.
