Jean-Marc Brocard

Jean-Marc Brocard is based in the village of Préhy, located just to the south-west of Chablis. He began producing in 1973, shortly after marrying a vigneron's daughter from St-Bris. Today much of the day to day running of the estate is managed by his son Julien and his son-in-law Frédéric Gueguen. It is Julien who has been primarily responsible for converting the vineyards to run on the principle of biodynamism.. Brocard produces Chablis in all its styles with the premier cru wines produced in stainless steel, while the Vau de Vey and Vaulorent, and grand crus, are all vinified and matured in large wooden casks. They do also produce three different Bourgogne Blancs too.
