_2015 Beaujolais Blanc, Henry Fessy
Made from 100 per cent Chardonnay with no oak to speak of, this is fresh and creamy with plenty of citrus and a touch of savouriness on the finish.
_2015 Beaujolais Villages, Henry Fessy
It's such good value this and so darn drinkable, full of ripe cherries, plums and damsons. With fine acidity and very little tannin, it's almost thirst-quenching.
_2015 Regnié, Chateau Reyssiers, Henry Fessy
From old Gamay vines planted at 300 year-old Château des Reyssiers near Beujeu, this is vibrantly fresh with plenty of ripe red briary fruit and a faint dusting of spice.
_2015 Morgon, Henry Fessy
It's a big wine for a Beaujolais, this, full-flavoured and bold. There's plenty of ripe cherry and mulberry fruit here and noticeable tannins. One to age perhaps.
_2015 Côte de Brouilly, Henry Fessy
Made from 50 year-old Gamay vines in the oldest vineyard in Beaujolais, this is fresh, luscious and enticing, with perfectly balanced fruit and acidity.
_2015 Chiroubles, Henry Fessy
Disarmingly light and delicate this, with unmistakable whispers of scented violets on the nose and silky, elegant ripe fruit on the palate backed by a long finish.
_2015 Brouilly, Henry Fessy
From the southernmost and largest cru in Beaujolais , a wine that's satisfyingly rich, full-flavoured and robust. One for the barbecue or a hearty mixed grill.
_2015 Juliénas, Henry Fessy
It's a lovely deep red, this, with beautifully balanced red and dark berry fruit. There's a bit of autumnal, mushroomy earthiness, too, giving welcome depth of character.
_2015 Chénas, Henry Fessy
This is delightfully floral on the nose with lots of crunchy ripe fruit on the palate and something almost Pinot Noir-like also lurking in the background.
_2015 Saint Amour, Henry Fessy
From the most northerly of the Beaujolais cru, this is light, fresh, soft and supple with plenty of attractive sweet cassis notes on nose and palate.
_2015 Moulin-a-Vent, Henry Fessy
It's extremely stylish this, with concentrated ripe wild strawberries, excellent acidity and silky tannins. There's weight to the wine, too, giving it quite a presence.
_2015 Fleurie 'Chateau des Labourons', Henry Fessy
This is a cracker, with wonderfully concentrated, smooth, succulent ripe fruit in the mouth and - thanks to a touch of oak-ageing - a firm body and long, spicy finish.
